Started
Getting started with VoiceLine
is easy.
Just follow these simple steps to sign up:
- Choose a calling plan that fits
your needs.
- Choose a new phone
number or transfer
your current phone number.
- Choose a telephone adapter or a Wi-Fi phone.
- When you receive your device, connect it to your broadband
connection. (Instructions are included with the adapter.)

- Plug in your phone and start using VoiceLine.
Service
Requirements
In order to use the VoiceLine service, you need to have:
- A VoiceLine account and phone number
- A broadband Internet connection (such as DSL, cable,
T1, LAN, or WAN)
Note: Most broadband service providers use dynamic IP addressing,
but if you have a static IP address, you will need to know
your IP address, netmask, and gateway address. Your Internet
service provider can give you this information.
- An InnoMedia XT telephone adapter with built-in
router or an XJ-100
Wi-Fi Phone (both are available from Net2Phone)
- A telephone
- A PC with Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser version
5.0 or higher (used for account management only)
