Leading technology wholesaler to distribute Net2Phone's Internet telephony hardware solutions

Hackensack, NJ - May 10, 2000 --- Net2Phone Inc. "Ingram Micro's strong relationships with all the superstores, VARs and resellers will give Net2Phone's Yap line an instant footprint in the hardware marketplace."

Yap products will make Internet calling easier than ever before. The Yap line consists of a series of Internet telephony hardware products designed to enhance Internet calling with and without a PC. Products are available for both consumers and businesses and enable all users to save significantly on long distance costs. All Yap products come with both hardware and $10 worth of calling time.

"Ingram Micro is working to increase our presence in the telephony space," said Kimberly Walkey, business unit director, peripherals for Ingram Micro. "We look forward to working closely with Net2Phone to help them penetrate the channel and to bring a more varied product offering to our customers interested in selling telephony products."

Ingram Micro will distribute the following YAP products:

  • Yap Headset: Allows for hands-free phone calls. The Yap Headset simply plugs into the multimedia soundcard of a computer for hands free calling.
